1. Introduction

Appetizers Inc. (“Appetizers”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for Pastime, our Home Screen widget games application (the “App”). This policy applies only to the App and supplements any related website policies. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Appetizers Inc. is the Data Controller responsible for the App in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR where applicable.

3. Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location. We do not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.

The only information collected in connection with the App is limited purchase information, handled by our purchase provider as described in Section 5.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

Game Data: The App saves the following on your device: the current state of your games, results of past games (such as your wins and losses), and your daily play streak. This data is used only to let you resume games and to show you your own stats and streak within the App. It is not sent to us.
Deletion: Deleting the App from your device removes all game data stored on that device.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases made within the App, such as the Starter Pack, are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, Inc. (“RevenueCat”) to validate purchases and manage access to purchased content.

What RevenueCat Receives: Purchase and transaction information, such as which products were purchased and when. This information is associated with a randomly generated, anonymous identifier and is not linked to your name, email address, or Apple Account.
How It’s Used: To verify purchases, unlock purchased content, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and give us aggregate information about sales.
Payment Details: Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your payment information, which is handled entirely by Apple.

RevenueCat processes this information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy, available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

We do not sell or license any information to third parties. Apart from RevenueCat, as described in Section 5, the App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

On-Device Data: Game data stored on your device remains under your control and can be removed at any time by deleting the App.
Purchase Information: Purchase information handled by RevenueCat is retained as long as necessary to provide access to your purchases and to meet legal and accounting obligations. To request deletion, contact us at privacy@appetize.rs. Deleting this information may affect our ability to restore your purchases.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, including rights under the GDPR if you are located in the European Economic Area. To make a request, contact us at privacy@appetize.rs.

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at privacy@appetize.rs so we can address it promptly.

10. California Compliance

We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. California residents with questions can contact us at privacy@appetize.rs.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and on our website, along with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
